With responsibility for driving Garmin brand awareness and consideration via earned media, you’ll play an active role in managing Garmin’s reputation in the UK and Ireland. You’ll do this by creating and delivering best-in-class PR strategies across print, digital and broadcast media. You will develop and cultivate media relationships and will be responsible for the management and development of the PR specialist. You’ll manage our press strategies for product launches, and where required, you will bring to life the brand strategy through unique PR campaigns that will excite and engage consumers in market and drive awareness, including pitching stories and manage interviews with Garmin athletes, ambassadors, and sponsorship partners. In addition, you will track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to monitor effectiveness, provide insights and measure ROI. An accomplished PR manager with proven experience in driving outstanding media coverage across all media channels, you will have an excellent knowledge of the UK & Ireland media landscape. You will have a successful track record of driving coverage beyond product launch reviews and maximising share of voice, as well as creating and delivering broadcast PR campaigns (in-house or with agency support). With a passion for sports & fitness, you have experience line managing, coaching and developing talent, as well as excellent management skills.
