We are a catalyst for spaces of encounter and renewal with Jesus. We guide and influence a national agenda for prayer, mission and justice. Our hope and strategies aim to stir a prayerful awakening in Great Britain through increased engagement with key 24-7 Prayer ministries: Prayer Rooms, Prayer Spaces in Schools and Youth and Student provision. Role Overview This role is responsible for producing communications collateral and content for the GB team. The Communications Producer will oversee the day-to-day work of social media channels and support the team to maximise all opportunities for content to be widely reached. We believe that social media has a unique role in stirring prayer, faith and storytelling. This role will be pivotal in helping the team reach it’s potential. Key Responsibilities Produce communications collateral and content for the team Oversee and implement GB social media communications strategy Create all relevant posts, videos and content to achieve strategic aims Grow a trusted group of freelancers to deliver video / design work to support strategy implementation Oversee email production and delivery for GB and Prayer Spaces in Schools Implement supporter journey comms in line with wider strategy Design content for wider team needs (events etc) Oversee daily running of key communications channels Currently these channels are Instagram and TikTok (reposting to Facebook) This includes replying to comments and encouraging conversation with the community Communications Expertise Maximise all opportunities for content to be widely reached by strategic audiences Keep in touch with existing and emerging trends on social media content success Key Requirements and Skills: Experience and Knowledge Understanding of the church culture in the nation Understanding of the particular needs, challenges, and suitable approaches to support Gen Alpha and Gen Z Experience delivering social media audience growth Experience shifting approach to adopt changing trends in social media Strong understanding of safeguarding best practices and compliance Able to work with freelancers to deliver high quality content Customer service support or similar, representing an organisation and responding to enquiries from the general public Project delivery of events and/or resources Theological training desirable Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to establish and maintain healthy and positive working relationships within the team and with external partners Able to deliver high quality content in at least one of the following disciplines: writing / design / video / social media Strong organisational and strategic skills, with the ability to execute multiple projects, priorities and deadlines methodically, effectively and efficiently Strong, clear and engaging written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated to see growth and development, and confident in taking initiative and being innovative Practical Considerations DBS/Police Check Ability to travel Weekend and evening working hours as required There is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian who maintains a living relationship with God and lives consistently according to biblical principles All staff are expected to live out 24-7 Prayer’s values as they represent 24-7 Prayer externally All post-holders are expected to fulfil their personal objectives set by their line manager, contribute to their team’s overall objectives, take responsibility for reviewing their ongoing personal development and maintain an awareness of the global 24-7 Prayer movement strategy All 24-7 Prayer staff share responsibility to promote and maintain a strong safeguarding culture, including the key actions they should take given their role and responsibilities For more information, please view the attached job description.
