This is an exciting opportunity for an Information Security and Compliance Analyst to join a well-established organisation and make a meaningful impact on its security governance and compliance framework.
In this role, you will:
1. Develop and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) to meet global standards like ISO 27001.
2. Create and implement policies that align with business objectives to mitigate cyber threats.
3. Maintain effective IT security controls across the business.
4. Identify security risks, implement mitigation strategies, and deliver awareness training.
5. Provide security guidance for procurements, projects, and new initiatives.
6. Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies.
7. Manage and implement ISO 27001 certification and respond to security incidents.
What we're looking for:
1. Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 (desirable or trainable).
2. Background in information security management, IT audit, or IT risk management, ideally in regulated environments.
3. Knowledge of IT support and business change processes.
4. Ability to design and support project controls for compliance in small/medium-sized businesses.
5. Proven experience implementing or managing ISMS and handling security risks.
6. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
7. Mentorship and team support capabilities. (desirable)
