The Role
To provide guidance & support in relation to all aspects of quality control and assurance across all departments within the company. Ensuring continuing quality conformity in relation to product and processes within the organisation. Working alongside the other Quality Engineers, helping to coordinate the wider quality teamwork.
Duties:
Monitoring and analysing quality performance data.
Actively participate in internal audits as per the internal audit schedule and support with customer onsite audits. Ensuring that any audit nonconformities raised are closed out within a reasonable timescale.
Lead onsite second party (customer) audits.
Assist in Third Party (Certification body) audits for ISO9001, IATF16949 & ISO14001.
Lead problem solving activities utilizing industry standard methodologies: 8D’s, 5 why’s, 3C, DMAIC, Ishikawa fish bone diagrams, FMEA’s
Coordination of document control (specifications, standards, procedures)
Assisting with the implementation and monitoring of change.
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
To organise the rejection of goods on sources of supply and to ensure corrective action and replacement.
Quality aspects relating to the submission of FAIRS, ISIR reports, PPAP & APQP documents to ensure they are correctly completed to meet customer requirements.
The Candidate
Experience working a quality position
Holds an engineering qualification
Able to read technical drawings
Experience producing FAIRs
Knowledge of one of the following PPAP, SPC, MSA, APQP, PFMEA
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £25,000- £28,000 candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities
