Job Title: GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Billericay Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver tailored English and Maths GCSE tutoring to students in need of extra support Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on student's needs and capabilities Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Provide feedback to students and parents on performance and areas for improvement Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification Experience in delivering GCSE-level English and Maths tuition Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Solid understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements Ability to motivate and engage students in their learning Strong organisational and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: Part-time hours, with flexibility required to meet student needs Work primarily in educational settings such as schools, libraries or learners homes Interact with students, parents, and school staff on a regular basis All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
