Service Manager - Supported Living and Outreach Services
Location: Folkestone
We are currently looking to recruit a Service Manager to oversee and manage a team of Support Workers in supported living and outreach services in Folkestone.
Your role will be to ensure that quality services are delivered in a person-centred way that promotes dignity and respect, choice, inclusion, and equality for people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and any other person with a qualifying support need. This role is critical in ensuring that services are safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led.
As the Service Manager, you will be involved in assessing and managing referrals to ensure that suitable placements are offered and support outcomes are met, as well as staff management.
This role involves developing and maintaining a culture of outcome-focused support, planning staff rotas to ensure that all assessed needs are met, and support is provided in the right way by the right staff.
Requirements:
1. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management desired or willingness to work towards it.
2. Essential that you are a driver, as travel between sites will be required.
3. A minimum of 2 years experience in a management role within social care is required.
A salary of £30,000 is offered for the role of Service Manager.
