Passive Fire & Fit Out Manager
Location: Kent
Five Point Recruitment are working on behalf of a valued client who specialise in M&E Building Services.
Due to a sustained period of growth, they are now searching for a capable Passive Fire & Fit Out Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project programmes including schedules, project milestones and deadlines.
* Preparation and management of forecast valuation documentation.
* Review and track labour/material to ensure projects remain within project cost plan. Production of detailed material take off documentation to issue to buyers to procure. Review sub-contractor quotations, ensuring all subcontractor purchase orders are raised and issued.
* Undertake regular senior management site inspections to monitor progress and quality of workmanship.
* Production of CPP/health and safety documentation, ensuring review and sign off prior to the commencement of works onsite.
* Arrange/undertake regular safety audits and risk assessments.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project.
* Provide regular updates on progress, addressing any client concerns or changes in requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and communications. Document any changes or variations to the project scope.
* Identify potential issues and proactively develop solutions.
* Manage conflicts and mitigate risks that could impact project timelines or quality.
* Ensure quick resolution of any on-site problems to maintain project momentum.
* Stay updated on working practices, innovations, and trends that could enhance future project delivery.
Skills Required:
* Proven time management organisational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience in presenting tenders to clients on behalf of the company.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel/Word & Outlook).
* Strong understanding of the commercial & education construction sectors.
* The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans.
* The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multitask various projects sequentially.
* Experience in a similar position.
* Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.

Pay: £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 per year
