About the Role:
Part of the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team. To chair Child Protection Conferences and Child Looked After reviews. To review and monitor the care plans to prevent drift and delay. To promote the voice of the child and participation and engagement of children and families.
About You:
1. Chairing skills - including the ability to manage meetings, summarise and present information
2. Minute taking for some meetings
3. Good organisation skills
4. An ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Networking
6. Ability to work effectively with partner agencies
7. Ability to keep children and families central to all decision making
8. Excellent written and oral skills
9. Good analytical skills
10. Excellent advocacy skills
11. Promote signs of Safety/strengths-based practice
What You Will Do:
1. The post holder will be responsible for chairing key care planning meetings
2. Monitor and review care plans
3. Advocate on behalf of the child/ren & families
4. Work effectively with partner agencies
5. Work effectively within a team and the wider service
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check.
