NRL's client, a leader in sustainable and connected infrastructure, seeks a Designated Individual for Temporary Works. You will manage procedures, staff appointments, and subcontractor reviews per BS 5975. Leading design and delivery of Temporary Works Solutions, you'll conduct stress assessments with steel, timber, and polymers, perform structural assessments using Finite Element Analysis, and create 2D/3D models with AutoCAD and Inventor. Additionally, you will oversee the design team, ensuring project efficiency and compliance with design standards.
What You Will Need:
1. 5+ years of design solution experience
2. MEng/MSc in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering
3. Chartered Engineer status
4. Technical team leadership experience
5. Familiarity with BS 5975, Eurocodes, and relevant specifications
6. Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis and 2D/3D modeling software
7. Strong management skills
8. A Full UK Driving License
