Supply Chain Manager
Hybrid- MOD Abbey Wood, Bristol with frequent travel to Andover

£45,000- £50,000 per annum plus benefits

Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team on a hybrid basis to manage our supply chain partners (SCPs).
Within this role you will manage the performance and contractual obligations of our SCPs and other suppliers working closely with the Commercial Lead and other members of the Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS) Senior Leadership Team to develop and nurture excellent relationships with our SCPs and the MoD.
The role will be responsible for ensuring all SCPs target performance levels are achieved and contractual requirements are delivered, while identifying and delivering continuous improvement through our SCPs and identifying potential subcontractors who have the desire and capability to deliver services for AFRS including SMEs and wider supply chain delivering against the AFRS Social Value commitments, utilising Serco’s Expressions of Interest (EOI) portal.
Furthermore, this post will oversee and manage a caseload of potential sub-contractor providers and support them in completing the necessary Serco due diligence and compliance checks in a timely fashion.

Main responsibilities of the role:
* Using Serco EOI portal, construct and issue EOI which accurately reflects the services/skills/outcomes that Serco is looking to potential subcontractors to provide.
* Project manage the EOI process, subcontractor selection, subcontractor vetting and onboarding process to support wider delivery program.
* Maintain and record a transparent sub-contractor evaluation and selection process to support subcontractor selection.
* Following evaluation and selection process to guide sub-contractors through any due diligence and onboarding steps that must be completed.
* Point of escalation for any issues that arise during the due diligence and sub-contractor onboarding process.
* Maintain regular communications with all sub-contractors during the EOI, sub-contractor selection and subsequent onboarding process.
* Project manage the subcontractor cohort to ensure the optimal mix of sub-contractors have completed the necessary due diligence and compliance checks in a timely fashion.
* Manage the signing of, and record of, the key supply chain documents (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, supply contracts) in line with standard Serco process.
What you’ll need to do the role:
* Able to achieve BPSS clearance.
* Flexible to commit to regular travel to the joint AFR HQ in Abbey Wood (Bristol),AFR Transition in Andover and other operational sites, as required.
* A proven track record of managing successful supply chains ideally within high volume, recruitment operations, able to motivate and attain high standards across the subcontracted provision and build strong relationships across all areas of the business.
* Subcontractor Management Experience
* Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Competent working with Data and working with management information and reporting systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of work teams.
