Role Overview
To work within the Mawdsleys Logistics Transport operation and working collaboratively with the Transport & Warehouse supervisors and team leaders; to ensure the safe, legal, and efficient distribution of all product maintaining an ever-present focus on adherence to MHRA compliance and provide exceptional customer delivery standards to all end-users.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure that operations are carried out in adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles;
* Represent Mawdsleys Logistics in an ambassadorial manner at all times to both internal and external customers;
* Deliver pharmaceutical products for all ML customers, on time, in full wherever possible;
* Adhere to the business SOP package to ensure driver and vehicle activities are compliant with DVSA regulations;
* To maintain driving licence validity;
* To operate an LCV in-line with all rules of the road and training provided;
* Ensure MHRA regulations are followed by supporting and completing temperature monitoring and management requirements;
* Support the ML Transport management team with all Transport enquiries;
* Communicate effectively, efficiently and coherently with other drivers, customers and internal Management;
* To support the Transport Operational team during periods of high work volume and during absence;
* Be an integral part of the Mawdsleys Logistics team across the wider business, building relationships and a teamwork ethos;
* Be involved, if relevant, in projects that are required to support the business strategy.

* Experienced in multi-drop delivery;
* Experienced in driving 3.5t MWB or LWB panel vans;

* An understanding in use of PDA’s;
* Full clean driving licence;
* Able to self-motivate all abilities through tact, politeness and assertiveness;
* Ability to deal with difficult situations resulting in satisfactory closure;
* Confident, enthusiastic with good interpersonal skills.
