EQUANS is looking for a Planner to join our team in Seaham on a permanent basis. This is a fulltime role working Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Planner will be responsible for producing, programmes, progress reports, resource schedules, and associated procurement/design schedules for projects from initial pre-construction stages through to live projects onsite
What will you deliver?
1. Produce fully logic linked programmes Initial pre-construction, tender/ bids, live projects (short term and full construction & contract programmes)
2. Review information and comment on information in relation to programme implications.
3. Insist in the production of constraint plans
4. Insist in the production of project risk registers (PPA documents)
5. Attend Site / Team and DTM meetings to gather/request information relating to programme implications.
6. Monitor and edit programmes based on revised/updated project information and subjective evaluation of the sites progress
7. Contribution to the production of robust project controls, and accurate reporting and forecasting.
8. Assist in producing procurement schedules and information release schedules.
9. Ensure accurate/timely completion of any relevant documentation.

Who are we looking for?
21. Experience of producing pre-construction, tender/bids, and construction programmes with full logic linking.
22. Competent in the use of Asta Powerproject (Essential).
23. Understanding of construction principles and techniques.
24. Ability to assess information diligently and efficiently to gather the information required.
25. Planning Management - demonstrates an awareness of the disciplines and functions of the Project Delivery Team and how these integrate.
26. Communication: Communicates clearly and confidently, both orally and in writing. Shares information and relays instructions.
27. Excellent organisational skills.
