The Pub has already benefited from an external investment and Proper Pubs will be investing around £200,000 to bring this great pub back to life. The refurb will be in keeping with the pub with a fresh and modern appeal. It will be carefully balanced with loose and fixed seating and the carpeted and wooden flooring will create zones in the large open bar. There will be a sports area complete with two pool tables and two darts boards as well as a TV screen to enjoy the full sky package provided. The main bar servery services all areas of the pub and will have a varied product range featuring a great selection of category-leading products, complemented by numerous regular weekly promotions, ensuring exceptional value for customers. The function room presents endless opportunities for events and gatherings, attracting a diverse clientele and maximizing revenue potential.
Trading Style
This pub will be a hub for the local community with the full sky and TNT package and numerous TV screens well positioned throughout. The new operator will need to market this to the wider community to ensure they reap the benefits. The pub will have two pools and three dart boards making it a perfect venue for numerous sports teams. Entertainment will feature throughout the week, including DJ’s, Open Mic nights, Jam sessions, and live bands.

The private accommodation offers a retreat within the bustling atmosphere of the pub, providing excellent accommodation for individuals or families, with its spacious layout and well-maintained condition. The rooms consist of two double bedrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room, an office, and a bathroom.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns takes care of all running costs including rates, utilities, stock, and day-to-day running costs while you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, along with all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
All new operators have comprehensive free training as part of their agreement.

Lisa Jennings, the Business Development Manager, is seeking an experienced community pub operator. You must have a good understanding of the local demographics, and the community must be at the forefront of your retail offer. Developing a diverse and engaging schedule of events throughout the week is a must to cater to different interests and age groups. This includes live music, quiz nights, themed parties, and other activities that keep the locals coming back for more.
