Women's Lead Goalkeeping Coach Birmingham City Women FC is on the lookout for a hard-working, ambitious, and visionary Lead Goalkeeping Coach to join our Women’s First Team. Reporting directly to the Women’s First Team Head Coach, you'll be responsible for designing and leading a high-performance goalkeeping programme that underpins both team success and individual development. Your role will span tactical planning, technical delivery, analysis, and pathway integration. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver a comprehensive, forward-thinking goalkeeping programme. Write and lead on the BCWFC goalkeeping strategy across the entire women’s pathway. Attend all Women’s First Team training sessions and matches. Provide pre- and post-match analysis, including opposition breakdowns and individual development plans. Lead and support the implementation of the team’s restart strategy. Collaborate with Academy and PGA staff to manage the development pipeline of goalkeepers. Support recruitment by identifying and reporting on goalkeeping talent. UEFA A Licence in Goalkeeping (and outfield A Licence preferred). FA Licensed Coach (safeguarding and first aid compliant). Proven experience in professional women’s football. Deep understanding of high-performance coaching environments. Ability to lead and inspire both senior and developing players. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS clearance. Desirable skills: FA Advanced Youth Award. Talent ID Level 3 or above. Experience in coach mentoring and youth development. Background in high-performance or elite player environments.
