The postholder plans and delivers effective strategies and programmes of communication as part of the Communications and Engagement team which serves the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB), and the wider Integrated Care System (ICS).
The postholder acts as an expert adviser on communications to the organisation.
They are responsible for ensuring that all activity reflects the statutory duty to communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders, local citizens and their elected representatives, the media, partner organisations, staff and scrutiny bodies in order to promote and involve them in the business, priorities and decision-making of the organisation., The post holder will be required to have regular contact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, engaging with them over sensitive, complex, contentious and confidential issues.
