Accounts Assistant Berkhamsted (Office-based with occasional work-from-home days) Salary: £30,000 per annum Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (up to 12 months) We are recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a growing company based in Berkhamsted. This role offers the flexibility of occasional remote working days but is mostly working from their office 9am-5pm. The role is full time, but part time hours could be considered. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required. Requirements: Proven experience with Sage accounting software. (ideallly), Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
