Main duties of the job The senior PWP role involves supporting both qualified PWP's and those in their training as apprentice/trainee PWP's. You will offer both clinical skills and case management supervision to the PWP's as part of your role, as well as ad hoc support to your step 2 colleagues. You will continue to retain a small caseload of clients in order to keep your PWP's skills up to date, as well as maintaining your professional registration. You will work together with the senior PWP's and management team to create a supportive environment for the step 2 team. You will have knowledge of the service targets and support PWP's to achieve the targets set, as well as providing knowledge to the wider team about the role of a PWP. You will be supported by your fellow senior PWPs, as well as a Step 2 lead and your team manager. You will support with the organisation and facilitation of our community events calendar. As well as taking a lead in one of our champion roles, in which you will oversee and manage the projects happening within this area of expertise. The role requires someone who its reliable, with a flexible approach; working closely with PWP's who have differing requirements to ensure they continue to offer evidence based low intensity CBT based interventions to the Birmingham population, while keeping in mind the low intensity, high volume nature of the PWP post.
