40% site based in Stockport / 60% UK Travel

Job Description
Leading small/medium/large sized control or safety systems throughout the project lifecycle, including design, build, test, and commission.
Interpreting customer specifications including drawings/requirements and delivering changes to software/hardware for modification or rectification work. This could also include managing new builds of systems.
Hands-on fault finding/programming and repair of safety-focused control panels, including PLC programming.
Technical go-to for the department responsible for checking complex projects along with guiding other engineers.
Providing on-call support for systems and products.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
1. Ability to travel to customer sites for installation/rectification work.
2. Must be confident in PLC programming.
3. Electrical/Electronic qualification.
4. Proven experience working with control panels/PLCs or HMIs.
