Reserves Officer - West
35 hours per week
£27,021 - £30,060 per annum
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Reserves
Officer.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our small Nature Reserves team. You will work with other reserves
staff, volunteers and contractors to maintain and improve our portfolio of 24 reserves across West Yorkshire, managing them to the
highest standard for both wildlife and people.
You will plan, agree and deliver annual work programmes for reserves in the region in addition to running reserves day to day
through practical delivery of works, volunteer task management, management planning, monitoring and partnership working with other
stakeholders. Work will also include overseeing agri-environment scheme agreements, plus exploring other fundraising
opportunities. Inspiration and engagement with site users and local communities will be important.
You will be an organised, conscientious and adaptable individual, who will bring your existing skills and experience to the team
to join our busy programme of works. Passionate about nature’s recovery, you’ll have a strong background in environmental
management. You will understand that sound health and safety practices underpin all that we do.
How to apply:

role. Ideally, your CV and supporting statement should be in an editable format, such as Word, so we can anonymise your documents
prior to the short-listing process. Please DO NOT include any personal details (name, address etc) on your supporting statement.
