RVT Group is currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrician to join our talented team. In this essential role, your day-to-day objectives are to ensure that our workshop runs smoothly and efficiently by prioritising workloads, carrying out inspections and repairs to a high standard and to ensure inventory within the workshop is managed. Your professionalism, experience and expertise will see you work alongside other electricians to achieve our targets and ensure that our customers receive our products in full working order and in line with our expected standards (visual quality standards, performance standards and that they comply with applicable industry/legislative requirements). Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure jobs are logged on our management system. Facilitate Inventory Management processes: Requisitions, stock takes, and ad hoc corrections when required. Effectively manage internal and external queries as and when they arise Ensure inventory within the workshop is managed and accurate to reduce unnecessary expenditure. Asses the viability and cost of a repair based on the expenditure required. Maintain accurate service records and General housekeeping. Collaborate with team members on projects to ensure timely and quality work. Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Requirements NVQ level 3 required (2357/2356). In service and inspection (PAT 2377) desired and an advantage. Level 3 Inspection and testing (2391-52 or 2391/92) desired and an advantage. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the electrical industry.
