Legal Secretary - Employment Department Location: Cambridge Type: Full-time, Permanent Our client a top50 law firm are seeking a legal secretary within their Employment department in Cambridge. We are seeking an articulate and forward-thinking Legal Secretary to provide professional, proactive, and high-level administrative support to a small group of busy, ambitious fee earners. Key Responsibilities: Monitor fee earners' inboxes daily and manage the inbox of junior staff during holidays. Manage diaries, including bringing urgent items to attention and maintaining a streamlined inbox. Coordinate meetings, meeting rooms, car park spaces, lunches, dinners, and transport arrangements. Assist with business development events. Format, paginate, number, and present documents in house style. Proofread all work. General PA duties, including booking restaurants and accommodation. Maintain and update client and other relevant contact details on our client database. Respond to internal and external telephone enquiries professionally. Support other members of the secretarial team and provide cover as necessary. About You: Strong proactive administration and/or secretarial experience. Positive, enthusiastic, and professional approach. Strong attention to detail, high-level organisational skills, and reliability. Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and a desire to learn. Flexibility to manage new tasks and work at pace when needed. Ability to create positive impressions and relationships with clients. Ability to liaise closely and seamlessly with colleagues in other offices and build good working relationships.
