We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated laboratory technician to support our small team in identifying key mechanisms that immune cells use to kill pathogens.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated laboratory technician to support our small team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in laboratory procedures, be proactive in troubleshooting, and be able to manage multiple tasks. As part of a small team, you will play a key role in maintaining laboratory operations, ensuring quality standards and assisting with research and development activities. You will be expected to work closely with colleagues and contribute to the success of projects by ensuring efficient and safe laboratory processes.
Your skills and attributes for success:
1. A degree in a relevant subject coupled with substantial experience of working in a research laboratory
2. Excellent written, numeric, oral communication and organisational skills
3. Ability to use initiative and to cope under pressure
4. Ability to collaborate and communicate with junior and senior staff
5. Willingness to learn new techniques
