IT Service Desk Analyst £24k-£28k Papworth Everard 4 days, 1 day remote After successfully placing their IT Technician five years ago, we're excited to help them find a skilled IT Service Desk Analyst to strengthen internal IT support. This role will be pivotal in maintaining smooth operations, troubleshooting tech issues, and supporting exciting IT projects. As the IT Service Desk Analyst, you'll handle both 1st and 2nd line support for internal employees, ensuring they have the tools and systems they need to stay productive. While this is not an entry-level role, candidates with at least a year of IT Support experience will have plenty of opportunity to develop. You'll work closely with a collaborative IT team, with ongoing training to fill any knowledge gaps, making it a great role for someone looking to grow their skillset. All candidates must be within a 45-minute commute of Papworth Everard. Key Responsibilities: Provide prompt and professional IT support to internal staff through phone, email, and the ticketing system. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end users. Manage IT assets, tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventories. Collaborate with 3rd-party vendors for specialised support and service escalations. Actively participate in ongoing and upcoming IT projects, contributing to improvements and deployments. What We're Looking For: 1 year of IT support experience, ideally from an MSP or in-house team. Familiarity with ticketing systems for tracking and resolving issues. Knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365; experience with SharePoint and Intune is a bonus. Ability to commute to Papworth Everard four days a week.
