Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking
Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipes.
Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all food items.
Assist with daily prep work
2. Kitchen Station Management
Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organised workstation.
Ensure all ingredients and tools are properly prepped and available before service.
Communicate with chefs and team members to ensure smooth service flow.
3. Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
Follow HACCP and food safety regulations, including proper storage and labelling.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas.
Prevent cross-contamination and allergen exposure.
Support HC and Kitchen supervisor with daily Due diligence and record keeping on Alert65
4. Supporting the Kitchen Team
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing food deliveries.
Work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
Be flexible in helping with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning.
5. Cleaning & Equipment Maintenance
Maintain a clean workstation, including surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
Assist with end-of-day cleaning, dishwashing, and waste disposal.
Report any damaged or faulty kitchen equipment to management
