An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Technician with an interest in Aseptic Services.
The successful applicant will become part of a busy team working within a licensed Aseptic unit offering a high quality service to both internal and external customers.
The suitable applicant should be highly motivated and have excellent attention to detail. They should be organised and able to prioritise work effectively showing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Main duties of the job
There is involvement with final checking of aseptically prepared items made under the Manufacturer's Specials Licence, so this is a great opportunity to further develop your aseptic knowledge and skills.
You will also be involved in organising and implementing the training of new and existing staff and therefore great enthusiasm towards inspiring others is essential.
To support the management, development and delivery of the aseptic service, including the day to day running of the service and workflow, accurate management of stock and aseptic related training of pharmacy technicians and support staff ensuring standardisation of practice and learning.

Please note that currently the Central Aseptic Services Unit (CASU) is not operating as normal due to the suspension of the MS licence. The licence is currently suspended until Thursday 13th March 2025. The successful applicant will begin their employment by operating on a rotational basis between the Level 2 Satellite and the Oncology Satellite, until further notice.
