IDAM Project Manager (Identity Access Management) - Initial 2 month contract with a view to extend / Day rate negotiable / Hybrid working
We have an exciting opportunity for an IDAM Project Manager to join us on an initial 2 month contract with hybrid working, where you must be willing to travel to our Reading office at least 1-2 days per week or alternatively, we will accept candidates who can work from our Dublin office and work in those offices at least 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
1. IGA Managed Service Provider RFP (run from now - until May ’25)
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for selecting an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Managed Service provider. The RFP has been issued and therefore the PM will be responsible for the proposal evaluation, project coordination, and assisting the IDAM Programme Manager in the creation of the business case for the IGA managed service. This role will require close coordination with the IGA Business Analyst, procurement team, and stakeholders.
2. Identity Hygiene (to run Apr ’25 -> Oct ’25)
This stream of activity is to remediate issues within Identity/Account Management BAU. The Project Manager will engage with a 3rd party who will assess the current state, define the target state, and develop a plan for remediation. The Project Manager will coordinate efforts between the 3rd party, internal stakeholders (service team/AD team/other tech teams), and outsourced providers to ensure effective execution.
3. PAM Phase 2 (to run Apr ‘25 -> Jan ’26)
Primark utilises PAM as a Managed Service (PAMaaMS) to manage privileged accounts. The decision has been taken to maximise the benefit of this tool by extending the rollout of PAM to our critical applications and infrastructure. This project manager role will work with a chosen 3rd party specialist security company to successfully onboard privileged accounts to PAM whilst developing integration playbooks, training material, and defining the target state PAM JML processes. This will require coordination between the 3rd party specialist security company, the PAM BAU managed service provider, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create RFP documentation, evaluation criteria, and scoring mechanisms.
* Coordinate vendor assessments, including conducting demos, proof of concepts (PoC), and security reviews.
* Lead RFP response evaluations and selection of the preferred service provider.
* Conduct a comprehensive review of existing Identity and Account Management BAU processes.
* Develop a remediation strategy to address identified BAU issues and improve operational efficiency.
* Work closely with internal teams (service team, AD team, and other tech teams) to facilitate BAU remediation activities.
* Work closely with the third-party security specialist and the PAM BAU managed service provider to facilitate smooth onboarding of privileged access accounts.
* Engage with IT security, AD, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on PAM integration and operational processes.
Skills & Competencies:
* Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing IT security, IAM, or PAM projects within enterprise environments.
* IAM/PAM Expertise: Strong understanding of identity governance, access lifecycle management, and PAM.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external partners.
* Communication & Leadership: Strong presentation, documentation, and facilitation skills.
The IDAM Project Manager best suited to this role will have in-depth project management experience within IAM or PAM.
