Maintenance Business Improvement Manager
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Business Improvement Manager to drive efficiency, innovation, and process improvement within our estates maintenance operations. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Estates, you will lead key soft maintenance projects, focusing on procurement, maintenance planning, lean processes, CAFM system optimisation, and KPI development.
This hybrid role offers a mix of on-site collaboration (3 days per week) and remote working, providing flexibility while ensuring strong engagement with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Improvement & Process Optimisation,
* Lead and deliver soft maintenance improvement projects, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness,
* Develop and implement lean processes to enhance operational workflows,
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and best practices,
* Procurement & Maintenance Planning,
* Support procurement strategies for maintenance services and contracts,
* Develop and implement planned maintenance schedules to improve service reliability,
* Optimise the use of the CAFM,
* Define, track, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency.
* Work closely with the Deputy Director of Estates to align projects with strategic goals.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to enhance service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in estates maintenance, facilities management, or business process improvement.
* Strong knowledge of procurement, planned maintenance, and lean methodologies.
* Proficiency in CAFM systems and data-driven decision-making.
* Ability to develop and monitor KPIs and performance frameworks.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
