Working hours: 4 hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed Job Summary: We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner at our Reading Lower Early Corps Community Room and Hall. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat and tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times. You will be a keyholder. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential as lone working is involved in this post. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning, vacuuming and dusting offices, ancillary rooms and entrances Cleaning windows and sills Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floor Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished Cleaning kitchen surfaces and floor, emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing rubbish. Clean and put away dishes and utensils if required Informing the Corps Officer of cleaning supplies needs The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Previous cleaning experience Be able to work alone and use initiative To have knowledge of Health & Safety Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
