The Role:
The Design Technician will play a pivotal role in:
* Assisting in the assessment of initial information received from the Client’s designers and architects.
* Liaising with Factory, Project Manager and Client’s designers and architects, sub-contractors and suppliers.
* Conducting site surveys.
* Producing clear, concise, and accurate drawings in line with deadlines and programme requirements, adhering to QA standards.
* Collaborating with schedulers to discuss drawings and assist production with any queries.
* Coordinating with the Drawing Controller regarding the issue and distribution of drawings.
The Person:
* Must be Proficient in AutoCad
* Have knowledge of current building regulations and experience with BIM projects would be ideal
* Have the ability to think in 3 dimensions
* Ability to adhere to project deadlines
* Have problem-solving abilities
