Job Description:
Swimming Teacher - Haywards Heath, West Sussex
We are Places for People Group, a social enterprise that believes it's people that make a community. At Places Leisure, we are changing lives by creating active places and healthy people for communities to thrive, and we want to be the UK's leading health and wellbeing enabler.
We apply the same philosophy to our People as we do to our communities, ensuring our team is appreciated and supported. At Places for People, you're more than just a number - you're part of our cause.
More about your role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Swimming Teacher at Places Leisure, where you will work in a fun, lively environment with like-minded people. You will help inspire others to work together and deliver their best. With your passion for teaching, swimming, and excellent class programming skills, you will engage with our customers and impress them with your knowledge and expertise.
All of our swimmer development stages are based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming, and our Swimming Teachers should hold a minimum of UKCC Level 2. It would be advantageous to hold a Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC); however, if you are a motivated individual, we would support you in achieving these qualifications.
There are many opportunities within Places Leisure. Your career as a Swimming Teacher is a great first step towards roles such as Swimming Co-ordinator or Contract Swimming Development Manager.
In this role, we will offer ongoing training and development opportunities, including support with your NPLQ or NRASTC qualifications, enhancing your customer service skills, and more.
