Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client based in the South East to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Parking Processing Manager on an interim basis for an initial 3-month contract.
This opportunity has arisen due to the need for a skilled manager to oversee and improve the back-office parking processes, including penalty charge notice handling and parking permit administration. The successful candidate will be key to ensuring the operational efficiency and regulatory compliance of the parking service during this period.
Responsibilities of the Role:
* Overseeing the full lifecycle of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), including processing, recovery, and payment tracking.
* Managing the issuance of parking permits and ensuring effective administration.
* Leading a small team, ensuring the smooth and compliant delivery of all back-office operations.
* Reviewing and improving internal processes to increase efficiency and reduce delays.
* Liaising with external stakeholders, including contractors and service providers, to improve service delivery.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
* Experience working in a parking environment, with a focus on back-office functions like PCN processing and permit management.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing office-based teams.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant parking and traffic legislation, including the Traffic Management Act 2004.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to identify and implement process improvements within operational teams.
