Job summary Due to our dedicated practice nurse retiring in March, Lincoln House Surgery is looking to welcome an experienced, qualified general practice nurse to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate treatment programmes for our patients. This role is offered on a full or part-time basis and for the right candidate, we are looking for a minimum of 3 days per week, 7.5 hrs per day, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 6pm on a rota basis. This can be discussed at interview. We are a dual branch practice and you would be expected to work at either branch when required due to the needs of the business, Highfield and Lincoln House Surgery. Competence to undertake Asthma, COPD and Diabetic clinics / reviews and hold relevant certificates. Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations (Adult & Child), assisting with minor surgery, dressing and wound care and recording spirometry. Compassionate, empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work as well as valuing the dignity of our patients, relatives, carers and colleagues.
