Location: 1 hour's commute from Halesowen.

Job Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening employee engagement across Keys Group. As a Communications and Engagement Officer, you will support in the rollout and management of a new employee engagement app, ensuring it enhances communication, collaboration, reward and recognition, and engagement across the organisation.
You will be responsible for creating compelling content and campaigns that bring our values to life, creating a sense of connection and involvement among colleagues across our diverse organisation. This role requires creativity, energy, and the ability to use rich media formats to ensure communications are engaging, inclusive, and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the launch and ongoing management of the employee engagement app, ensuring it becomes an essential tool for communication, collaboration, and recognition.
* Manage content creation for the app.
* Develop engaging and dynamic content for the app to keep colleagues informed, inspired, and connected; including written copy, videos, graphics, and interactive media to maximise user engagement.
* Promote the app to all employees, driving adoption, encouraging regular use, and ensuring active participation in discussions, announcements, and feedback loops.
* Support the planning and execution of internal engagement campaigns and events.
* Work closely with the HR and Operations teams to ensure engagement strategies support recruitment, retention, employer branding, and overall employee satisfaction.
* Provide training and support to teams on how to effectively use the app for communication, engagement, and professional development.
* Liaise with the app's customer success manager to optimise platform adoption and effectiveness.
* Develop and execute creative campaigns that celebrate achievements, share success stories, and create interactive experiences that connect employees across different locations and departments.
* Analyse engagement data to measure the effectiveness of communications and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and feedback, ensuring engagement initiatives meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
* Ensure all digital engagement initiatives are user-friendly, accessible, dynamic and aligned with the organisation's EPIC values (Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Caring).
* Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
* Work with the wider marketing team to ensure any engagement initiatives are effectively promoted externally where appropriate.
Qualifications And Experience:
* Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, marketing, or a related field.
* Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging and impactful messages.
* Creativity and experience in using rich media (e.g. video, animation, podcasts, interactive content) to enhance engagement.
* Strong knowledge of digital engagement platforms and tools, with experience in apps such as Workvivo, Staffbase, or Reward Gateway or intranets as being advantageous.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward with enthusiasm and energy.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Ability to engage diverse audiences with clear and compelling communication.
* A passion for employee engagement and creating a positive workplace culture.
* Experience in the social care, education, or healthcare sector is desirable.
* Knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software.
