The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team on a part time basis.
Hours: Part time: weekends/ad-hoc shifts, 10am starts.
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role:
1. Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver and collect parcels from the clients Parcelshop and Smart Locker network.
2. Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
3. Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
4. Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
5. Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
6. Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
7. A valid UK driver’s license.
8. Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
9. Ability to pass a driving assessment.
10. Strong communication and customer service skills.
11. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
12. Flexibility to work ad-hoc shifts per week, including weekends.
13. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
