Physics Teacher – Fully Qualified with QTS Required

Pay: £162.31 to £251.71 per day (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: Easter 2025

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Fully Qualified Teacher with QTS to join our client school in Durham as a Physics Teacher. If you are a passionate educator with a strong knowledge of Physics and the ability to inspire students, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – applications without QTS cannot be considered.
* Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with an understanding of the broader Science curriculum at the secondary level.
* Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills.
* A child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
* Two professional references from recent employment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Teach KS3 and KS4 Physics to a range of student abilities.
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that support student progress.
* Explain complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
* Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
