Job Details FIXED TERM CONTRACT 6 MONTHS HOURS: 40 Hours per week Monday – Friday // 8hrs 30mins Team members may be required to work occasional Saturday shifts 9am to 1pm, on a rotating basis (up to once every 4 weeks). Job Purpose Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Administrator provides excellent customer service, dealing with inbound queries which can occasionally include resolving challenging situations calmly and effectively to achieve positive outcomes. They will proactively seek to ensure that customers experience smooth, efficient service by: • Keying orders correctly & in good time • Responding to & processing credit requests with respect & care • Attentively following procedures & routines They will communicate clearly & politely with key internal and external stakeholders, business owners, members of the public, other agencies, customers, suppliers, auditing bodies and other council officers at all levels. Duties include: • Handling inbound & and outbound phone calls • Managing a busy inbox to ensure that all orders and queries are categorised and seen to in good time • Escalating issues & queries to the relevant department or manager • Accurately processing orders & credits • Producing & analysing database reports • Undertaking regular procedures • Assisting other departments where required, e.g. picking urgent same-day deliveries, or performing site audits The above details will be subject to changes to suit the needs of the business. Skills include: • Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple platforms including phone, Outlook, Teams, and face-to-face • Strong IT capabilities: able to learn new systems quickly, fluent with all MS Office programmes • Good judgement, willing to independently prioritise tasks • Positive, motivated & energising attitude towards work and colleagues • Demonstrable experience in highly collaborative team environments • Excellent attention to detail
