Whether you see this as your ideal role or as a route to strengthen your customer services career, our Customer Services Advisors provide a front line service for our residents and businesses of the Borough, dealing with enquiries via telephone, face-to-face contact, email, and social media channels.
You will be establishing what our customers want and finding the information to help them across a range of the Council’s services that we provide, whether it is responding in full or signposting them to the relevant service provider.
We are seeking applicants who have a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, taking pride in their work, and gaining a sense of job satisfaction in this sector.
The ideal applicant would have previous contact centre experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to cover a range of queries for several different council services. Additionally, effective communication skills, the ability to deal with challenging situations, and experience in using computer software packages are essential.
