The Role: We're looking for a Technical Support Officer to support the busy Highway Development Agreements team ensuring records are updated and maintained for all highway development agreements within Hampshire. In this role you will be central to the smooth running of the HDA team, ensuring records are accurate and available, enabling officers to easily identify the status of any individual scheme and undertake financial forecasting and performance monitoring for the HDA service. You will also be the first port of call within the team to deal with enquiries from solicitors, home buyers/sellers and the general public who enquire about the adoption of development roads in Hampshire. You will also help to develop and improve working practices within the team to help streamline the road adoption processes. You will need excellent communication and a good understanding of IT, particularly Office 365, SharePoint and databases. You’ll be a conscientious, enthusiastic and highly motivated person who has an excellent eye for detail, is accurate and reliable. You’ll also have the ability to manage and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
