An inclusive mainstream primary school in Horspath / Oxford is looking for a teaching assistant to work with Autistic children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. The school ideally seeks someone with an understanding or experience with ABA. The position is to begin ASAP and requires a minimum of a Level 3 qualification, with a degree preferred.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with Autism and be able to offer strategies to support the children. The school is looking for a proactive teaching assistant who can use their initiative and be highly flexible/adaptive. In return, the school offers ample CPD opportunities, including regular training in different fields of SEN as well as long-term teacher training. A background and understanding of ABA is ideal for this position.
The primary school is graded 'Good' by Ofsted, and the local authority has commended them for their highly inclusive and diverse culture. The successful teaching assistant will work alongside the SENCO and a large team of experienced teaching assistants, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and emotional literacy support therapists.
