This is a permanent position. The working patterns required are detailed below, however flexibility is required for covering annual leave and sickness absences. Main duties of the job The candidates we are seeking should be experienced in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times and able to work well under pressure both independently, and as part of a team. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, together with a caring and solution focused approach to patient related problems. The main duties will be answering phones and dealing with patients face to face, care navigating patients to the most appropriate person / service to help, dealing with repeat prescriptions, scanning, managing patient related tasks as directed by the Practice team. You will have the ability to remain calm in difficult situations as well as having the initiative to identify outstanding workload and support the team in completing this. Flexibility to cover colleagues annual leave and sickness is essential. Full training will be given but Medical Administration and Receptionist experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
