Primary Teacher (Years 3-6) - SEN Specialist (Autism Focus)

Start Date: Immediate or April 2025 (Temporary to Permanent)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Radlett, Hertfordshire. This welcoming and well-resourced school caters for children with additional needs, with a particular focus on Autism, and offers a nurturing environment where both staff and pupils are supported to thrive.
This role will initially begin on a temporary basis, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent after the first term.

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experienced in teaching within Primary, EYFS, or SEN settings
Strong understanding of Autism and strategies to support pupils with additional needs
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Passionate about delivering creative, differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil's needs
A positive, team-oriented professional with a resilient and reflective mindsetKey Responsibilities:
Teach small groups of pupils in Years 3 to 6, adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Build a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children with Autism
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure high-quality support and consistency
Monitor and track pupil progress, setting achievable goals based on individual starting points
Contribute to the wider school community and play an active role in shaping specialist provision in Radlett, HertfordshireAbout the School:
