Job summary Our North Somerset drug and alcohol service is recruiting for an experienced Non Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join us in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse client group. Main duties of the job As an NMP you will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessment, diagnosis and clinical management in line with both WithYou and National regulations, policies and procedures. You will be eager to keep up to date with developments in the treatments that you are prescribing and help WithYou to develop, implement and evaluate the interventions we use with our clients. These include harm reduction and providing support and advice in relation to substance use. You will also assess, screen and triage clients, advise on detoxification where appropriate and support with vaccination and blood testing programmes. You'll work closely with the Operational and Clinical Leadership along with our Recovery Workers to ensure that the clinical and psychosocial needs of the individual are met and that prescribing is safe, effective and in accordance with best practice while meeting the individual needs of the client.
