An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, independent practice in the heart of Birmingham. This low staff turnover practice prides itself on its team of highly experienced professionals, including 3 vets, 5 nurses, and fantastic support staff, many of whom have been part of the team for over 10 years. The practice has a loyal client base, with many clients having been with the practice for over 20 years!
Equipped with digital x-ray, in-house blood machines, and ultrasound, this practice offers a modern and well-equipped environment where clinical freedom is encouraged, allowing you to provide the best possible care for your patients. With a yearly budget for new equipment, the practice ensures its team has the tools they need to thrive. The role offers a family friendly approach, minimal sole charge, and the opportunity to pursue your specific interests within veterinary practice, with appointments scheduled for 20 minutes, leaving time for calls, clinical notes, and a well-deserved lunch break. There is also the exciting prospect of partnership opportunities for the right candidate in the future. Official Veterinarian is desirable for mainly Animal Health Certificates, and the practice is looking for candidates with 2-3 years' experience.
The Rota:
* Full time position
* 3-4 days per week
* Potential for some Saturday mornings
