Bank Clinical Support Workers support the trust in delivering high quality care for our service users
Temporary Staffing covers staffing shortfalls within CWPs inpatient units, which are located in Chester, Wirral, Macclesfield and Nether Alderley. Joining the bank will give you the opportunity to work on our wards that cater for Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and CAMHS, with our shift patterns being Days - 07.30-20.00 and Nights 19.30-08.00.
We offer a full paid training package before offering work, which includes a mixture of eLearning and Face to Face. The face to face training is indicated below and is held at Sycamore House, Ellesmere Port or Soss Moss, Nether Alderley;
• Trust Induction - 1 day (Ellesmere Portonly)
• Proactive Approach Training - 5 days
• Clinical Systems Training - 1 day

At CWP we offer our bank workers weekly pay and access to Wagestream.
Duties will vary from ward to ward however, you will be expected to undertake the following:
• To support the therapeutic relationship with service users through engagement and activities as deemed appropriate to the client group.
• Assist in standardised procedures relating to individualised total patient care, under the direct supervision of a primary nurse
• Participate in patient observation and reporting any changes to senior staff as necessary.
• Carry out other duties identified/designed by senior staff that related to the needs, changes and demands of the Ward and patient care inclusive of the provision of personal care when required.
• .The post holder will be employed to work within a particular ward environment but may be required to work within any other Ward / locality as demand requires.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
