About the role We are looking for an Investments Data and Liquidity MI Analyst to support the production of the suite of internal and external management information required from the Middle Office team, with a particular focus on liquidity reporting/forecasting. The main purpose of the Investment Operations and Reporting Middle Office team is to validate the input of trades, report to the Financial Conduct Authority on derivative and repo daily transactional data, produce and deliver the short term internal and external liquidity reports and the internal investment data reports for Just Group in a pro-active, accurate and efficient manner. Responsibilities Ownership of the production of internal and external liquidity MI and forecasts. Maintain oversight of liquidity coverage against Just’s liquidity framework. Co-ordinate with Investment Team (and others) to maintain ongoing view of the high likelihood investment pipeline. Ownership of the production of regular and ad-hoc investment data MI, including valuation control reports, counterparty reports, matching adjustment committee trading reports amongst others. Develop competence with treasury management system (FIS Quantum) Provide cover for Middle Office team on ad-hoc tasks. Skills & Experience Experienced in general MI reporting, data analysis and control processes. Part qualified/qualified accountant or similar is beneficial. In depth knowledge and experience of Excel. Able to use numbers to tell a story. Knowledge/understanding of financial markets. Knowledge of FIS Quantum or other treasury management would be useful but not essential. Understanding of financial control environment in complex financial services environment (ideally, life insurance) companies. Knowledge of data management and analysis. Good problem analysis and pro-active resolution skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong attention to detail. Proactive attitude and able to pivot and adapt in a fast paced and transforming environment.
