We want a social media manager to help the business expand our digital footprint and convert social media content into online and offline sales.
Role Objectives
1. Increase following, engagement, views, and sales conversions on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Pinterest.
2. Increase followers, engagement, views, and leads on LinkedIn.
3. Create on-trend videos that have the potential to go viral. This includes but is not limited to filming yourself or working with our in-house videographer to do Street Interviews, Unboxing Videos, Product Experience Videos, Influencer Style UGC Videos, and more.
4. Create on-trend videos that are designed to convert products into online sales.
5. Manage a monthly advertising budget effectively.
6. Improve ROI through more consistently on-target messaging.
7. Produce reports on weekly insights from social data using monitoring tools and Excel.
Responsibilities
1. Create social media videos and become the face of the brands.
2. Become an extension of the company’s brand to connect with audiences.
3. Stay up to date with new and emerging trends.
4. Stay up to date with algorithm changes.
5. Stay up to date with competition.
6. Establish key performance indicators to understand the efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations.
7. Regularly align with the sales, marketing, and licensing teams for product definition, availability, and brand consistency.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms.
2. A creative thinker.
3. Excellent problem-solving techniques.
4. Strong multitasking capabilities under pressure.
5. Clear, confident communication abilities.
6. Effective time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience leading a brand’s social media initiatives.
2. Keen understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies.
3. Strong familiarity with smartphones, video recording equipment, computers, email clients, and Microsoft applications.
4. Experience with social media free and paid tools.
Desired Qualifications
1. Experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
3. Experience with cameras, image, and video editing software tools.
4. Experience with SEO tools.
