Administrative Support & Customer Liaison Officer We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our Building Control team as an Administrative Support & Customer Liaison Officer. You will provide essential administrative support to technical and professional officers, while delivering high-quality customer service to residents and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for phone, email, and in-person enquiries. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality. Prepare letters, reports, and official documents. Process financial transactions, orders, and assist in debt recovery. Support internal service performance reporting and marketing communications. Assist in onboarding and training new staff and conducting quality checks. Contribute ideas to improve service delivery and support ongoing projects. What We're Looking For: Strong admin and customer service background, ideally in a local authority. Confident with Microsoft Office and data management systems. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Flexible and responsive approach to service improvement. Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent). Knowledge of Building Control processes (advantageous).
