The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for a Cleaning Technician to work at our ALS Trowbridge Site. The role will involve ensuring high standards of hygiene are kept across the site and within the Laboratory areas. Please note, that this role provides the opportunity for regular overtime where available!
The right candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to closely follow instructions.

Hours Per Week: 40
Days Per Week: Monday- Friday (12:30 – 21:00)
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
Annual Salary: £24,378
The day to day
* To perform scheduled duties as detailed in the Site Cleaning task log to the highest standard.
* To inform Cleaning Supervisor/Facilities Coordinator of any problems or doubts concerning the ability to perform allocated duties.
* To conform to all site Quality Management Systems and Health and Safety procedures and protocols at all times.
* Ensure that all areas of the site are kept clean and tidy.
* To ensure all records are completed concisely and accurately with paperwork written in clear handwriting. Documents should be retained in the appropriate location.
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Facilities/Site Management Team.
The Essentials
* 5 GCSE level or equivalent qualifications including English and Mathematics.
* Past cleaning experience.
* Experience cleaning an operational work facility.
* The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work on own initiative.
* Have a hands-on approach to manual tasks.
* Good communication skills, written and oral.
* Be able to accurately follow written procedures and verbal direction.
* Good organisational skills & numerical skills.
