Role: Workshop Engineer
Location: Cannock
Salary: £33,000
First Military Recruitment are partnering with an established, market leading business, looking to bring on a skilled Workshop Manager. You will be joining an experienced team, that provides tailored solutions to a range of customers.
You will ideally come from a Military background, but this isn’t a necessity, whilst having solid hands-on experience in preventative maintenance, complex malfunctions. And providing on going support to hydraulic lift tables, electric platform lifts, scissor lift tables, and electric lift tables.

Your Duties as a Workshop Engineer:
7. Diagnose and repair faults on both in-house and third-party powered access equipment.
8. Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) examinations.
9. Assist with servicing, refurbishments, and general workshop duties.
10. Respond promptly and effectively to on-site breakdowns and callouts.
The ideal candidate experience as a Workshop Fitter:
11. Proven qualifications and experience as a Powered Access Engineer or Plant Fitter.
12. Valid driving license.
13. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
14. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
15. Team player with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
16. IPAF CAP Licence a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
