We’re currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner!
Reporting into the Associate Director of Finance, our successful candidate will be crucial in driving the business forward by offering financial and strategic support to achieve profitable growth.
Our ideal candidate will hold an ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification (or an equivalent mix of a relevant professional qualification and financial experience). You’ll be adept in conducting detailed P&L analysis to support long-term development and producing insightful management information to support the business plan.
You’ll meet personal targets to enhance the business’s profitability and continuously seek opportunities for margin improvement by examining options for revenue growth, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
Your exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be key in driving commercial innovation and setting the vision and direction for allocated business areas.
In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range of £45,000 to £55,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Hockley, Essex - Majority remote working with the occasional commute to our office when required
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
• Review and oversee the monthly management accounts for your allocated business areas, analysing trends and performance for monthly business reviews.
• Develop and prepare monthly KPI reporting and Operational Review packs and challenge budget holders on financial performance, identifying opportunities to drive improvements in reporting and analysis.
• Monitor sales, margin and cost trends vs forecast to ensure good understanding of risks and opportunities.
• Lead regular reviews and provide business partnering support to Operational Managers and senior stakeholders regarding operational and financial performance.
• Take on ownership for ensuring the budget, outturn and cash flow are updated in line with timetable and provide an accurate and up to date view for the business area/s. As well as assisting on delivering ambitious, but realistic financial plans with key operational leaders to help drive the business forward.
• Line management of Management Accountant/s and Finance Officer/s to review their progress, set targets, and peer review their work.
• Prepare bids using financial modelling and complete key commercial analysis for use in pricing and costing decisions.

Skills and Experience
Essential
• Qualified/ part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with proven track record of operational finance support (or equivalent combination of relevant alternative professional qualification and relevant financial experience).
• Advanced knowledge of using MS Excel.
• Confident and highly competent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to prepare and present complex financial information in a simple and meaningful way.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Able to see the big picture as well as operating in the minutiae.
